Visiting / Befriending Scheme
  The aims of the Visiting / Befriending Scheme are:

"To provide a link with the wider world and stimulate conversation"

"To listen and note anything that is a concern and bring it to the attention of the Co-ordinator."


Below are some guidance notes for those interested in taking part in the Visiting Scheme
  1. An application form must be completed and the names of two referees supplied.
  2. The Minimum requirement for visiting is at least once a month.
  3. Attendance at two Visitor's meetings twice a year is desirable.
  4. Housework is not part of the scheme.
  5. Shopping is not to be undertaken on a regular basis.
  6. Reasonable requeste, e.g. Posting letters, buying a birthday card, purchasing a forgotten item of shopping, may be carried out.
  7. Medication must not be purchased or administered.
