Facilities for Hire
The Centre is available for hire at times when we are not using it. It is fully accessible with user friendly facilities.
The Main Hall can seat up to 60 people at tables for a meal depending on the level of access each person needs and it could accommodate 100 people should tables not be required.
The lounge can comfortably accommodate 20 people sitting around tables or 30-40 if the chairs are arranged around the edges.
The two halls are connected through adjoining double doors. Black-out blinds can be deployed to facilitate film or slide shows.
The purpose built IT suite at the Spencer Denney Centre is equipped with both desktop computers, a smart board, projector and sound equipment making it ideal for small groups for meetings, training or social activities.
The Kitchen is modern and well equipped, it will only be hired to those posessing Level two food hygiene qualification and with expereince of working/volunteering in a commercial kitchen. It can only be hired with the Hall. Serving of refreshments and preprared food can be done without hiring the Kitchen. The IT room can be hired separately and the IT room has a separate entrance so as not to disturb other users of the Centre.
