Age Concern Windsor is a small local charity helping and supporting older people.

Summer Fayre

• We are looking forward to our Summer Fayre on Saturday 15th July 10:00-13:00 when are raisiing money to support our services in and around Windsor. We are hoping for good weather as we will be running an ourt door Cafe area with hot and cold drinks and snacks. Face painting will be provided by Bumbles painting and there will be some fun Fayre games. Inside we will stalls including Plants and flowers donated from Lavender Green, Cakes, Body shop, Candles Wax and Melts and much more.
  
  

Transport for Tuesday Social Groups

• Happy New Year! We are pleased to say that we can now offer transport to and from our Tuesday Lunches, Bingo, Quiz afternoon and the Afternoon Tea with Tunes. Spaces are limited but if you live within Windsor and would like to attend one of our Tuesday groups then get in touch. Telephone 01753 860685 (Tuesday to Friday 9:30-15:30) Transport cost is £5 a journey.

Christmas Fayre Sucess

• Thank you to everyone who came to see us at our Christmas Fayre on Saturday 27th November. It was lovely to see so many people, the fayre raised a fantasic £750. A big thank to Scots fish and Chips, Datchet Golf course,The Runneymede Hotel, Windsor Race course and the Soroptimists International for the donated raffle prizes. The Christmas raffle raised over £300 to support our services.

New Ceilings and Lighting

• It has taken a while to raise the money to replace our exisiting lowered ceilings and lighting however the difference is amazing.
  
  
  The Centre has much better light, the buzzing and flickering lights are gone and the new lowered ceiling is clean and stable. We have also put inslulation above the new celings and are looking forward to the rooms being easier to heat as well as reducing heat loss.

Volunteer Vacancies

• We are currently looking for people to help with the Day Services, Meals on Wheels and Befriending. Recruitment will be done via online video conferencing. Please see Volunteers for more details or get in touch via email volunteering@ageconcernwindsor.org.uk and we shall be in touch.
