Carers Support Coffee Morning

  • The surrounding area has lots of people who are helping older people regularly and many of them could do with someone to talk to, ask questions of and find out how they can better help the person they are helping and themselves. The Carers Support coffee morning held on the 3rd Thursday of every month is open to anyone who helps someone, to have a chat, drink some tea and have a cake and for them to ask questions.

New Sunday Lunch Club

  • We have been looking into ways to broaden the use of our centre and bring activities or groups to the weekends as it can be quite a barren time for clubs and societies. We are pleased to say that we will be opening our doors on the second Sunday of each month for a Lunch Club. The first date will be Sunday 12th August from 10:30-14:00. There will be morning refreshments and a chance to socialise or play cards and a three course roast dinner will be served at 12:30 leaving plenty of time to let the dinner go down before leaving at 14:00. Anyone over 55 and families are welcome. The cost is £10 a head and booking is essential no later than the second Monday of the month, Monday 6th August. Transport can be provided for anyone living within Windsor at £5 each way.

Embracing a new age!

  • Having spoken to local people we are hearing that people do not know what is going on at our Centre and we would like to change this. It would also be nice if there was an easy way for us to show others what we. Having looked at the options we have decided to set up a Facebook page. We intend to post about our work, fundraising events, special events and what is happening within the Centre as well as show support for other local endeavours that we feel local older people will be interested in. If you would like to show your support or find out what we are doing please like our page.
