COVID-19 Group Services update October 2020
All group Services are currenlty closed due the increased number of cases of Covid-19 in the local area. The safety of these services are regularly reviewed to ensure that they are safe and we are abiding by Government guildelines regarding COVID-19. They will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.

Meals on Wheels
This service is available to people living within, Windsor, Old Windsor and Datchet who live in a household with someone who is over 55. It runs Tuesady through Friday and delivers a hot two course midday meal to people. Meals will be delivered 12:00-12:45 . At present there is a set menu however we can accomadate most dietary requirements and there is a vegetarian option each day. At present we cannot produce Vegan meals and cannot source Halal meat. Every client will get a weekly call to check if they are fit and healthy to receive a meal and if they are needing any aditional help. We ask that people sign up to receiving meals every week but this can be just one day a week. The cost of a meal is £6.50.
For those on income or disablity related Benefits we can offer a discount to £4 a meal.
Qualifying Benefits: Pension Credit, Income Support, Universal Credit, Personal Independence Payment, Employment and Support Allowance (Income based), Job Seekers (Income based), Carers Allowance- for the named people (i.e. the carer and cared for), Attendance Allowance, Disability Living Allowance.

To qualify we will require proof of your current entitlement to the benefit either as a copy of the letter or emailed photo. We must be able to clearly see you name, the date of the letter and the stated entitlement and for what period it has been granted.
In cases of hardship free meals can be offered on a case by case basis, please contact us directly to discuss your situation.

Boredom Buster Packs
We are currenlty delivering a weekly Boredom Buster Pack that contains a selection of Puzzles, word searches, quizes, colouring sheets and other interesting one this day information for you to enjoy at your leisure. These are available to those living in Windsor for free.

Telephone Befriending
This service involves a weekly call with a volunteer for a chat and catch up. The call will last up to 30 minutes and will be with a matched volunteer. We vet all our volunteers and talk with you both about what you enjoy, your outlook on life and interestes before we introduce you to someone. Our aim is to find someone who you will enjoy having a chat with. Just in case we will give you a call and check that everything is going well and if not look at whether you would like to be introdcued to someone else. This Service is free.

Coffee Club
Is a drop in social group that meets every Tuesday, at the Spencer Denney Centre, from 14:00-16:00 for tea and cakes. It is open to anyone who would like to meet others and socialise. We charge £1 for refreshments and people are welcome to bring their own. At present there is maximin capacity of 8 for this club and a sign saying Full will be posted outside the buidling should this occur.

Sunday Lunch Club
Is held on the second Sunday of the month, at the Spencer Denney Centre, when we serve a three course roast dinner. The Club will be open from 11:45 with lunch at 12:30 and closes at 14:00. Morning refreshments will be served at tables on arrival. Maximum capacity is 10 and booking is essential. Cost of a Sunday Lunch is £10 per head.
