Trustee Vacancies

Age Concern Windsor was formed in 1988 as an unincorporated Charity. In March 2018 it was converted to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation.
Age Concern Windsor is an independent, locally-funded and governed charity, separate from Age UK. We have signed a Friend of Age UK Berkshire and Age UK national agreement, that allows us to use the Age Concern logo.
Trustees of the charity are volunteers, the day-to-day operations are delegated to the Chief Officer and other members of staff, and to an extent, the volunteers.
The Board of Trustees currently comprises the Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and three voting members. We are looking to expand it's number and its skills, as the organisation itself expands into new areas of work.

We are currently looking for people in the following areas

Fundraising
To support in formulating and regularly reviewing the strategic aims of Age Concern Windsor, with a particular emphasis on provision of unrestricted funds for organisation to fulfil ACW aims and objectives.

If you are interested in joining us as a Trustee, please contact Rachel Harvey, Chief Officer, in the first instance to discuss your interest, what skills you would be able to bring to Age Concern Windsor and how we can assist you in that. If there is mutual interest, an informal interview with the Chair and another trustee will follow, and if successful, a recommendation for co-option and eventual election can follow.
